TO MEDIA/WRITERS/ACADEMICS: Call 412-260-1170 to reach me anytime. I will help journalists, writers, academics, students and grad students, to reach former lifetime staffers of the Scientology movement, people with credible opinions and firsthand experiences who are willing to be interviewed. (I myself was mainly a lower level bureaucrat but worked a couple years in the higher level ecehelons of the movement, amongst my 27 total years in the lifetime staffer category. Anyone should feel free to contact me.) There are senior ex Scientology staff who will articulately detail their firsthand experiences at the top ranks of the movement, and detail the predicaments and controversies they experienced firsthand.

I will do whatever I can to introduce writers and researchers with those former lifetime staffers who are willing to be interviewed.

TO EX-SEA ORG MEMBERS: To former Sea Org members (Sea Org members are the lifetime staffer bureaucrats who form the religious order of the Scientology movement), I highly recommend getting onto this Yahoo chat group, to find old acquaintances from your Sea Org days. The below XSO chat group contains a wealth of info about former Sea Org members. XSO consists mainly of people now considered "SP" ("suppressive person" meaning they are excommunicated from the official Scientology movement). But some ex-Sea Org members in good standing have visited and chatted. The XSO chat group is an excellent way to locate old friends.

I got out of the Sea Org (lifetime staff) on March 29, 2003. I started posting on the internet on the anti-Scn sites in July 2004. (This means since July 2004, per Scientology rules, I have been committing non-stop suppressive acts.)

3 tiny smear sites against me are now down. All that is left up smearing me, is this http://www.religiousfreedomwatch.org/medianews/10-11-06-Chuck-Beatty.pdf

My boss at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette said to me, "They play hardball." Not really, but they try!

My advice to all who fear any smearing, just be upfront with your friends, family and employers, and work and associate with people smart enough to see through the Hubbard smear tactics. And yourself, read the Hubbard smear tactic policies, particularly, "OFFICE OF SPECIAL AFFAIRS NETWORK ORDER 15, 18 February 1988 Confidential BLACK PROPAGANDA (Originally written by LRH on 12 January 1972. Issued as OSA NW Order on 18 February 1988.) ... To cease to be the effect of classification and become in our turn the cause of it, the classifier, is to win the propaganda game. Our propaganda is dirty.... We do this trick by survey and attack.... we become re-classified as attackers and the enemy as bad hats as they're for the evil if they attack us... We just run propaganda campaigns....It reclassifies our attackers as evil people... we (1) Seek to avoid opportunities for the enemy to classify us. (2) Contest or expose any previous classifications as false (dead agentry, etc.) (3) Engage in a series of campaigns which confuse past classification. (4) Achieve for ourselves a dominance in classifying ourselves and others." "L. RON HUBBARD, Founder , Adopted as official Church policy by CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY INTERNATIONAL

There are 5 recent ex member memoirs books, all good books for the history they contain and 3 of the books on the recent years physical abuse at the top ranks of Scientology are must reads:

"Counterfeit Dreams" by Jefferson Hawkins (former marketing chief of Scientology)
"Scientology: Abuse at the Top" by Amy Scobee (former senior executive over the "celebrity sector" of one of the movement's top two councils, the Watchdog Committee)
"Blownforgood" by Marc Headley (has excellent maps and details of the top Scientology cult compound in Riverside County, California)
"My Billion Year Contract" by Nancy Many (former public dissemination sector aide to L. Ron Hubbard, she also was a top executive at "Celebrity Centre Los Angeles" and more)
"The Complex" by John Duignan (good history of a period in the mid 1980s when the "Complex", large blue buidlings in Hollywood that Scientology religious order staff occupy, is told)

The cutting edge blogs for the increasingly popularized "Independent Scientology" movement:
http://markrathbun.wordpress.com/ The several years of comments to the blog threads contain an unprecedented amount of leads into un-researched Scientology history. The man who signed Hubbard's death certificate, the man who was Hubbard's former cook, and the man who was Hubbard's motorpool man, have commented unprecedented unreleased history on this blog, but it needs picking through by experts to find it. Ex senior cult compound staff detail extensively firsthand information on this blog, including Marty Rathbun and Mike Rinder. This site gives links to all the major ex member sites, excluding the most anti Scientology sites.

http://leavingscientology.wordpress.com/ Is a series of articles by Jeff Hawkins where Jeff takes up one by one the most extreme predicaments Scientologists very often have the bad experience of being caught within. Overwhelmingly ex members benefit by studying these blog articles by Jeff. Scientology can inflict on some of the members abusive fads which have Hubbard scriptural bases. Not all ex members need the mental decompression, but almost all long term members do need something to put their Scientology frustrating predicament experiences in a new light. Jeff's series of articles was excellently received by hundreds of ex members, he's finished the series and it is a permanent site for future ex members to utilize when needed.
