Subject: Details of how DM micromanages, smothering initiative, pitiful details of Int Base life under David Miscavige

The following are comments on how DM micromanges the top ranks at the Int Base:

"Shelly Miscavige (COB Assistant) and Laurisse Stuckenbrock (COB Communicator) follow him around wherever he goes on the Int Base property (meaning to the CMO Int offices, Exec Strata Offices, any offices including film making departments, audio departments, E-Meter production area, anywhere on the whole Int Base). Shelly and Lou are DM's entourage. They carry two handheld tape recorders. Every word he speaks is recorded. When one recorder runs out, the next one is turned on. The tapes are rushed up to Building 50 (the RTC building "up the hill") and transcribed by his staff, and issued to all who were present, and to any execs. The transcripts can run to 10 or 20 pages. This is in addition to his voluminous despatches. These are collected and put into binders by staff. They have to word clear them M9. Most areas have binders and binders of "COB Orders". The entire Base runs on these. They are nudged, chased up, enforced by DM's staff."

Subject: Recent Int Base defectors please come forward. Confirm DM's beating up Mike Rinder is a fact.

Right now more ex-Int Base staff, anyone with recent firsthand experience observing DM's beatings of Mike Rinder, are needed.

A couple more people who can confirm firsthand they witnessed DM's petty violence outbursts in recent years, PLEASE, contact me.

Media need the raw firsthand recipients, who got the petty slappings, punchings, and any former Int Base staffers who dished it out (believe me, people forgive it, once they see you are willing to admit it was wrong).

Anyone particularly with recent years experience, who saw DM beat up Mike Rinder, please contact me.

Media need the raw info, and then they can put Mike Rinder on the hot seat next time he goes to give an interview.

Subject: Needed and Wanted. Recent Int Base staffers to come forward to help change at least one dispicable aspect of the official Scientology movement.

For 2006 I wish to arm media with sufficient uncontrovertable firsthand experiences from former Int Base staffers, to detail the petty violence trends over the last 10 years at the top ranks of the official Scientology movement.

The disgraceful petty beatings done by David Miscavige of the top ranking executives in the official Church of Scientology, namely DM's petty slappings, unexpected punchings of staffers dutifully standing at attention, DM's leaping over conferecne tables with a dozen other top Scientology movement executives present, and DM slapping individuals to the ground and continuing to pummel these high ranking execs and staffers, needs to be exposed.

Other Int Base staffers have followed DM's lead, done the same, namely Waren McShnane, who as of 2005 was demoted and is holding a lower position in the Golden Era Productions organization at the Int Base, have done the same, namely the petty slappings, screamings, rants.

(Marty Rathbun, is AWOL, absent without leave, figuratively, since no one has seen him at any of the places he was said to be (not at Int, not in LA, not at the FLB, not at the Freewinds, and possibly on leave to Colorado to attend family matters is the best guess from former RTC friends of his).

The Int Base petty violence legacy traces to LRH (LRH beat on Otto Roos, LRH held Mike Douglas by the neck and off the floor for seemingly several minutes while ranting at Mike, and separately LRH figuratively said spit on John Aczel, and DM dutifully started a spitting fad at Int, venting and raging and spitting on those who messed up and pissed LRH off in the early 80's), and DM's irrational ventings that get copied by other Int Base top movement staffers, and transfers by osmosis down the lines, via the RTC overseeing arms that extend to the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, even today. The harsh justified attitude that makes the Sea Org top upper ranks so totalitarian and offensive, the movement is stuck with due to DM's bad role model!

For the new year, 2006, I hope and will work to encourage ex-Int Base staffers who can tell their firsthand stories, either receiving or dishing out this behaviour, with the aim to embarrass the church to cease this dispicable behaviour.

I want to arm the media who will interview the offiical church spokesmen, with the uncontrovertable firsthand stories straight from the horses mouths of those that have seen DM and others do the petty violence. Those who've seen, received or done the petty stuff (believe me it is easily forgiven by those that are OUT now, ex-members gladly forgive those who admit and seek forgiveness for their past lapses!), I hope will come forward.

Media pressure I think is the only thing, and also getting the word inside the ranks of the movement, that some ex members have had the guts to speak out about the petty violence.

It obviously should stop, and I hope the ex-Int Base staffers who make it out, will come forward with their firsthand stories, and at least be interviewed anonymously by media, to provide the background with which media can then interview the church spokespeople, and ask about the petty violence.

That's my goal for 2006. Anyone know ex-Int Base staffers who might be willing to speak up, please contact me.

Mike Rinder and Mark Yager and others were given petty beatings by DM. People who saw the beatings please come forward.

Help change at least this dispicable aspect of the movement.

Subject: Back in Black. DM's degradation of the Scientology movement's image.

It might already have been noted, but DM's in last 10 years or so, is the one giving the final stamp of approval for using the black uniforms that RTC have adopted and worn as one of their types of work uniforms, which is the black shirt and black trousers. The blackshirt look. He's seen in this uniform at the Freewinds, in one of the IMPACT magazine shots of him speaking at one of the Maiden Voyage events/conferences for the top Scientology OTs who assemble at the Freewinds each June.

The RTC blackshirt look is also prevalent at the Flag Landbase, and DM wears the blackshirt, black trousers uniform (RTC staffers only get to wear this uniform) at the Int Base also. (One exception, is that there is one Gold org unit that also gets to wear black shirts and trousers, but the Gold units' shirts are button down collar, while the RTC blackshirts are sort of the the tailored LAPD police officer uniform look.)

Needless to say the blackshirt unfortunately and unwittingly positions RTC with the heinous reputationed WW II German blackshirts. So when DM goes charging around the Int Base in his blackshirt uniform and followed by his blackshirt uniformed RTC subordinates, they present themselves unwittingly like the German elite blackshirts did within their organizations.

David Miscavige is blind to the harm he creates in this world.

It all leads back to L. Ron Hubbard's writings which formulated and guided the creation of the Scientology bureaucracies that run the Scientology movement today. Hubbard's extensive writings have allowed the rise of a leader in David Miscavige who cares not for the damage this disgraceful image presents.

My new years' hope for 2006, is that some people defect from the top ranks at the Int Base, and willingly arm Anderson Cooper of CNN 360 program or arm other media willing to comment on the Scientology movement's image problems, and arm media interviewers with recent years' raw firsthand accounts of the petty violence and disgraceful behavior, if it is still occuring, so that Anderson or other media can ask some impinging questions of the next sacrificially offered Scientology spokesperson (best would be if Mike Rinder steps up) to answer if DM's petty violence has stopped or does the petty violence continue to be used on Int Base staffers.

Dear Lar,

Sure. Get your point.

There is much to comment. DM is hardly Hitler. DM's not even a "little" Hitler. He's just a bully, and Hubbard would have dumped him from the top spot, had Hubbard lived. But Hubbard dumped every leader over and over, from the top spot. DM's stably bullied his way to the top, and I find it best to expose what people firsthand experienced around DM, and then let anyone offer their opinions how to label DM.

Arguing about DM's label, whether he's a "little Hitler", I don't consider that my life's work to try to learn someone else's label about the man.

DM's done what he's done, and I hope to encourage people who were the victims directly of DM's on the ground petty violence, to come forward and detail it to media, who then in turn have the raw info to next time interview Mike Rinder, and ask Mike if indeed DM beat up Mike, and ask DM point blank, next time DM is open for interview, if he has beaten up (slapped, pushed, punched, spit on) Sea Org members. I have spoken directly to 4 Sea Org members who were punched, slapped, spit on, pushed to the ground, and 1 of them received this relatively recently, so it shows DM has not really stopped this behavior, which others have spoken of receiving this petty violence as long ago as 1981-82.

The details of the acts, is what I think is useful for me to network and encourage people to come forward and allow themselves to be interviewed by media and book writers, so that the raw historical details can be made known.

How to characterize, I leave that to wiser minds, and to me, the media on up the pecking order, meaning academics, religious historian types, historian types, those types of observers when armed with the facts of life around DM, with hundreds and hundreds of firsthand accounts, I will gladly modify my descriptive characterizations of DM to fit what I consider the wiser outside minds would characterize DM as, once they get all the details.

Arguing about how to characterize the guy, not my concern.

St. Pete Times in the 1998 6 hour interview, brought up to DM the past charges about his striking subordinates, and he lamely dodged the question with his pat answer. His answer condemned him.

Now, I wish to work to encourage people to detail his continued practise of striking subordinates, until he ceases the practise.

I also wish to network people who will speak to writers and media, so that outside reporting on the movement increases, and with enough of that going on, then more authoritative descriptions and conclusions about it all can be brought about.

I enjoy reading intelligent observers' views, namely academics and people who study abusive religious cults/movements.

I will work to network anyone wishing to interview those willing to be interviewed, and there are considerable ex-members willing to be interviewed.

Can DM change, of course. Will he, only if he is put on the hot spot in the public spotlight, for his most blatant disgraceful and uncontrovertable abuses.

I have heard of bullies turning into nice persons.

My RPFer twin, in 2001 or 2002, told me of a story of a motorcycle gang member, she had known. This fellow was an "SP" bully who she knew, and she then heard of this bully having a near death beating at the hands of a rival gang. This fellow after recuperrating in a hospital changed and was thereafter a nice fellow.

I don't know enough, but bullies are stoppable. Beating them up, of course is illegal, unprovoked and without valid reason.

DM can be taken to task, put in the public spotlight, embarrassed, shown to be continuing the practise of abusing subordinates, and exposed in the media.

If about 10 persons who have witnessed his beatings all went public, to media, to the police, that might just stop DM's petty violence.

That's my opinion.

This RTC black uniform has only begun in the last several years, and I never saw it myself. RTC has only been wearing the black uniforms the last couple years.

Hubbard's written works are voluminous, and the vast majority of the "tech", and particularly take for instance the Case Supervisor series of technical bulletins by Hubbard, are far from Hitler-like writings. His writings and tech undeniably provide succor for some adherents, enough that even the ex-official Scientologists who are NOT approved of by official Scientology, are still doggedly faithful to what they consider good in Hubbard's Scientology writings. They skip the disgraceful demeaning dehumanizing Hubbard writings and are happily doing that part of Scientology they enjoyed while in official Scientology.

Roy Wallis began writing on the "squirrel" movements.

Academics study religious movements thoroughly.

I fully agree with that tradition of thorough study.

Whether official Scientology warrants serious academic study like Roy Wallis began, is still to be seen.

I have my views, and my rudder, as I tell anyone who asks me, is the wider academic tradition.

I hope to encourage all ex-Scientology people to lay down in writing or recordings as much as they wish, about their lives in and around the Scientology movement, so that researchers have the raw info.

I hope to network ex-members to media who are seeking to do stories on any public interesting aspects.

I will work to assist any person trying to factually get recorded any detail about the movement that anyone is interested in recording, especially for history's sake.

I realize the movement is completely dismissed, intellectually. My favorite quote is from William Burroughs:

http://www.clambake.org/archive/books/asns/NakedScientology.txt

"If Mr. Hubbard were content to be a technician who has made some important discoveries we could afford to ignore his personal opinions. When he sets himself up as the savior of all possible universes we cannot. The shoddy presentation, the reactionary opinions, the preposterous claims, the atrocious writing are so immediately repellent that few intelligent people can be persuaded that Scientology is worth a second glance."

...

"If the Scientologists persist in a self-imposed isolation and in withholding their materials from those best qualified to evaluate and use them, they may well find themselves bypassed. Mr. Hubbard says he wants recognition for his discoveries. Well, let him then show his confidential materials free of charge and without any restrictions to qualified workers in other fields. He says he has the road to freedom. Others have been a long time on that road...."

If more of Hubbard's writings were Hitler-like, we would not even have to discuss this.

But beginners bumping into Scientology writings of Hubbard, get drawn in quite a ways, before the Hitler-like stuff smacks you in the face. A normal adherent has usually passed through mounds of calmer innocuous Hubbard writings to cushion oneself within, which are not glaringly (to the less educated mind) offensive, before one collides with the totalitarian principles.

The lure is the high states of spiritual abilities, which I assumed Scientology could produce, which I had heard that all different sorts of mystical groups could produce (out of the body experiences, etc.). The lure of Scientology for me, was the OT states, and "exteriorization." I never got close, only got to Grade 0, which is very near the bottom of the "bridge."

I got into the administrative part of the bureaucracy, training the church executives, and later worked on a compilation project, then got into computers, and then spent my last 7 or so years trying to redeem myself, since I wanted out and feared I'd end up doing what I have now done, which is go to the media and expose what I consider disgraceful about the lifetime staffer predicaments.
